In order to prevent the damaging effects of the floods in Çayhisar Village, located in Çayhisar District of Köyceğiz District of Muğla Province, the rehabilitation of Çayhisar creek was completed by Gökşin İnşaat and financed by General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works.
Within the scope of the work; the slope of the creek was reduced with using 60 drop embankment through the 2 km of the stream bed, thus sediment transportation and cumulation were prevented.
Also with stone support, stackings berm walls are formed to prevent the area from overflowing. Concrete culverts were provided for transportation to the facility.
