Kırşehir Solid Waste Disposal Facility project work contract was signed on 04.02.2010 and then, application Works commenced in connection. Application designs have been prepared and revised as a result of an assessment of existing designs.
As the job site set up and mobilization facilities finished the works started on April 28, 2010.
The scope of the project covers the following work items: preparation of designs for the domestic waste disposal area, excavation and filling works, installation of geotextile and drainage gravels, construction of prefabricated administrative building, waste receiving center and workshop, development of leakage water collection system and drainage system, supply of electricity as well as mechanical and sanitary installations on-site and construction of wire fence around the site including various civil works.
In the auxiliary units, a water tank, cesspit, generator building, weighbridge and wheel washing unit have also been built.
There was a time limit of 365 days for construction facilities according to our contract. However, all the items of construction were successfully completed in a period as short as 5 months and thus, provisional acceptance was achieved on 27.09.2010. The facility was handed over to Kırşehir Municipality Water Supply and Services Union.
