A contract has been signed with Kahramanmaraş Municipality and Neighboring Municipalities Solid Waste Disposal Facilities Construction & Operation Union for the works Kahramanmaraş Solid Waste Disposal Facility Civil Works Construction Project on 06.11.2017.
As at 09.11.2007, delivery of the job site was made at Tomsuklu Locality and there has been a change for the job site due to the reasons not attributable to both Administration and Contractor pursuant to Article 24 of the contract.
For the new construction area, urgent expropriation decision has been taken after ÇED / EIA report approval and application design drawings have been finalized. And construction works started on 21.09.2011at Kürtül Deliömer Riverside.
The scope of the job covers the following items of work: administrative building, maintenance – repair building, water depot, buildings for generator, weighbridge, wheel washing unit, cesspits and preparation of composting area, installation of concrete pipe, preparation for report of ÇED / EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment Report), laying of isolation materials (geosynthetic clay cover, HDPE geomembrane, geotextile), construction of drainage layer, construction of embankment, road design and construction for transportation facilities of plant, leakage pond, construction of surface water canal, construction of leakage collection pipe on the bottom, fire water pumping and piping system, leakage water pumping system, observation wells, construction of gas stacks, performance and construction of building domestic heating installations, building electrical internal installations, supply and installation of generator as well as any other complementary works in connection therewith.
Although the construction period of the works in our contract was assigned as 365 days and there was additional work increases the project has been completed in a period of 10 months without any time extension request. It has been delivered to Maraş Çebbir upon the performance with provisional acceptance on 02.08.2012.
