Gökşin İnşaat has completed the 20 million Euro- Balıkesir project!
Eray Güvenç, Human Resources Manager at Gökşin İnşaat stated that they are capable of running four different projects at the same time in a year and added that they recently have completed and handed over the Balıkesir Solid Waste Sanitary Landfill Management Project in June. Güvenç further added: "The entire budget of 20 million Euros has been provided by the European Union (EU). The most significant feature of the project is that it is an integrated plant. A recycling facility has also been constructed within the scope of the project". Eray Güvenç also said that with the completion of the project in Balıkesir, the collected waste is recovered in full and waste is recycled into energy and added: "The project which has been brought into life in 1.5 years has been handed over in June 2014".
Eray Güvenç further told us that the Province of Düzce, Solid Waste Disposal Plant 1st Stage Construction and Transfer Station Construction Project which had been started last year has an investment amount of 15 million TL and that the project has been completed by 80%. He also stated that they generate projects abroad and added: "We are in preparations for a project to be realized in Azerbaijan. A solid waste plant is to be constructed in Baku. The project has achieved the tender stage. This will be our second project in Azerbaijan. We previously had completed and handed over a project in Georgia. We aim to operate abroad more and more. Therefore, we particularly closely follow projects in the EU countries". He also said that they have managed three different projects concurrently in 2013.
Generating environmental projects since 2004
Eray Güvenç stated that the company had been established in 1993 as construction and contracting company and further continued: "Our company has started to focus on environmental projects in 2004. We especially have focused on the establishment of solid waste disposal plants.
We handle the solid waste disposal process in various aspects such as collection and transport of wastes, establishment of sanitary landfill facilities, construction of transfer stations and recycling plants, rehabilitation of unsanitary landfill areas and operating sanitary landfill areas ".
