Under the job for Fethiye Solid Waste Regular Storage Facility Civil Works for which a contract was concluded with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry Special Environmental Protection Authority at the start of 2007, the following items of Works have been successfully carried out at the facility having a solid waste on the site area and also accommodating facility buildings, domestic waste lot, leach water pool: in this regard excavation and filling works, laying geosynthetic clay cover and laying geo-membrane and geotextile, laying 16/32 bedding materials and 32–64 and 0–64 mm road base and sub-base material, supply and installation of Ø110 mm 1,600 m of HDPE pipes, supply and installation of fire water piping and hydrants, supply and installation of electrical and mechanical accessories and supply of weighbridge, a generator and laboratory analysis devices.
