The Düzce Province Solid Waste Disposal Plant 1st Stage Construction and Transfer Station Construction Works which was started on date 06.09.2013 and which we undertook as GÖKŞİN was completed on date 25.11.2014 with the provisional acceptance. It was awarded by Düzce province Municipalities Solid Waste Association with the grant of the Ministry of Environment and loan financing by the Provincial Bank. The plant will provide service to Düzce central province and its 11 districts.
The plant has been constructed in Düzce Province Hecinler Location in two stages. The landfill site constructed within the scope of the 1st Stage will cover the waste storage of Düzce to be sufficient for 10 years. Furthermore, 1 transfer station has been constructed in Akçakoca district within the scope of the project.
Storage site excavation-filling works, ground and slope insulation works have been completed and auxiliaries such as leachate water collection pool, weighbridge, weighing machine building, wheel washing unit, administrative buildings, environmental lighting system and water tanks have been installed and constructed and in order to protect storage site from flood damage, dry stream bed have been constructed.
