Datça Solid Waste Regular Storage Facility Civil Works for which a contract was completed for Ministry of Environment and Forestry Special Environmental Protection Authority at the end of 2004, the following items of Works have been successfully carried out: excavation and filling, transport and laying of geosynthetic clay cover, geomembrane and geosynthetic drainage material, laying of 16/32 bedding material and geotextile, construction of downstream embankment with geogrid stabilization material, supply and installation of Ø315 mm 1,600 m HDPE pipe for drainage, supply and installation of fire pipes and hydrants, supply and installation of electrical and mechanical accessories and operation of the facility for 1 year on a land area with solid waste storage capacity of 315.000 m³ as well as facility buildings, leachate pool, fire water deposition lake and drainage canals.
