Excavation/filling and isolation work on an area of 13 ha, in the Hamitler Solid Waste Landfill Construction Phase 3 of the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality.
Within the scope of works, excavation works and transportation to the warehouse of approximately 430.000 m3 has been accomplished. For the application of an impermeable layer clay and 16/32 bedding material has been provided from a distance of 90 km. Concrete culvert construction has been completed in the stream bed located in the area. Supply and layering of 2 mm HDPE geo-membrane for the purpose of enhancing the isolation has been completed. HDPE pipes have been installed into the area around in order to collect leachate. Further, drainage manholes have been implemented for the drainage of gases to occur. The complete works have been completed and handed over within due time.
