The "Balıkesir Solid Waste Management Project" which started on date 24.11.2012 and which we undertook as GÖKŞİN&HELECTOR business partnership completed on 15.04.2014 before its due date with provisional acceptance. The Balıkesir Solid Waste Management project was awarded by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization IPA Department by receiving a grant of 86% from the EU.
Storage Site Ground Insulation, Recycling Plant, Leachate Water Treatment Plant, Gas Combustion Unit, Medical Waste Sterilization Unit, Old Battery Storage Unit, Wheel Washing Unit, Administration Buildings, Seepage Water Collection Pool, Observation Wells, Transformer and Generator Building, Water Tanks Transportation of Kepsut, Pamukçu and Susurluk district wastes to the central landfill site. Rehabilitation of uncontrolled landfills of Balikesir Central and Bigadiç, İvrindi and Savaştepe districts. Susurluk and Bigadiç districts Waste Transfer Stations works completed within the scope of Balıkesir Solid Waste Management Project.
The Solid Waste Management Project will solve the waste problem of Balıkesir Central and Districts that has been problem for 25 years. The system is the most appropriate method, strategy and technology."Integrated Solid Waste Management System" to Balıkesir province.
Within the scope of the project, thanks to both of controlling the gas emission and not discharging the leachate to the environment, our project got " Environmental Friendly Project" title.
